A chandelier obsession...

I don't know why I have such a strong obsession with chandeliers but I do. GS&E pulls over sometimes when we spot a gorgeous chandelier in a store from driving down the street. The bigger the better. The clear crystal-y the better. I think someone deciding on a chandelier in their home is so personal which is so interesting to me. It sometimes is as important in a dining room as it is in a kitchen. If you are in LA, I beg of you to go to Pom Pom Interiors by Hilda Lindquist on La Brea Blvd and De Longpre, one block south of Sunset Blvd. She has two stores but this one is beyond belief. The chandelier choices she makes in her travels bursting in the lower level like fireworks is so beautiful sometimes I want to crawl under an antique battered white hutch and never leave again.
